StrategicplanningMD, a leading provider of strategic planning software to healthcare organizations, announced Wednesday that the Idaho Hospital Association has adopted its web-based technology platform.
The association is among the first state hospital associations nationwide to take advantage of a bundled strategic planning execution management solution offered by strategicplanningMD.
In an effort to assist hospital associations with managing the myriad issues that comprise the various state healthcare agendas, strategicplanningMD has offered to each association a package of free software and services that, nationally, represent a $2.5 million investment, according to Maria Frantz, senior consultant for strategicplanningMD.
“State hospital associations have to address global issues to help their member organizations navigate through this era of healthcare reform,” said John Tolmie, chief operating officer of strategicplanningMD, in a written statement. “By providing technology and services that help drive strategic development and execution, we can continue to make an impact on the future of our country’s healthcare. We want to help every state hospital association drive excellence through innovation and performance, and we are delighted that the Idaho Hospital Association is our newest client to be working with.”
Frantz said due to the healthcare reform laws, more and more state hospital associations are thinking strategically into the future about how they can drive the execution of new plans, legislation and quality on a statewide level to each of their organizations.
“Through our software and consulting services, hospital associations can share information quickly and efficiently, meanwhile, sharing ideas and best practices with other state hospital associations,” said Frantz. “Hospitals can work together and ramp up their plans for healthcare reform.”
StrategicplanningMD’s offer to the state hospital associations include:
· Free use of StrategyPlanner, a revolutionary web-based software application that allows organizations to develop, monitor and execute strategic and operational plans, with a focus on transforming organizational goals into meaningful results.
· Pro-bono on-site support from a senior level consultant to ensure the creation and implementation of the most viable and actionable strategic plan possible.
· Free educational seminars and workshops for association members, to share the best-practice Five-Stage Design for Strategic Planning, which is the backbone of StrategyPlanner.
· Ongoing off-site support to enable the full use of the tools contained in StrategyPlanner and to provide strategic planning guidance.
“Through this system, we will elevate our strategic planning process and provide relevant information and tracking on the myriad of issues, projects, and services we provide,” said IHA President Steve Millard in a written statement. “The needs of our members are varied, and our goals have always complimented what our members strive for. By utilizing this system, the work we do on a regular basis can be tracked so that we can assure that we are giving members what they want and need.”
