Twelve hospitals win HFMA revenue cycle award

The Healthcare Financial Management Association has named 12 healthcare organizations as winners of the 2011 MAP Award for High Performance in Revenue Cycle. The winners will be recognized at the upcoming "ANI: The Healthcare Finance Conference" in Orlando, Fla.

The MAP Award showcases healthcare organizations that have met or exceeded criteria in revenue cycle performance, financial performance, innovation, and patient satisfaction. MAP stands for Measure, Apply, and Perform. The criteria are based on HFMA’s MAP Keys – revenue cycle key performance indicators.

The 2011 MAP Award winners are:

  • Baptist Hospital of Miami, Coral Gables, Fla.
  • Baylor Medical Center at Irving, Irving Texas
  • CHRISTUS Health – St. Catherine Hospital, Houston, Texas
  • Concord Hospital, Concord, N.H.
  • Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, Pa.
  • Grossmont Hospital, LaMesa, Calif.
  • Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center, Portland, Ore.
  • Lynchburg General Hospital, Lynchburg, Va.
  • Princeton Baptist Medical Center, Birmingham, Ala.
  • Saint Francis Hospital, Tulsa, Okla.
  • Spectrum Health, Grand Rapids, Mich.
  • Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano, Arlington, Texas
