Vendor Notebook: MedeAnalytics medical management solution is live

MedeAnalytics, an Emeryville, Calif.-based provider of healthcare performance management solutions, has announced that Blue Shield of California is now live with the company’s Medical Management Analytics solution.

RemitDATA, Inc., a Dallas-based provider of reimbursement, productivity and use solutions for outpatient healthcare settings, has unveiled TITAN, a new solution designed to provide a real-time, transparent view of essential business metrics. TITAN will be offered to customers of Allscripts, Dell, Doctor.com, LeonardoMD, MedEvolve, NextGen Healthcare and Post-n-Track, among others, through the RemitPARTNER program.

Agfa Healthcare, a Belgium-based global provider of diagnostic imaging and healthcare IT Solutions, has announced a partnership with Attainia, Inc., a Mountain View, Calif.-based developer of tracking systems for equipment planning, budgeting and tracking of healthcare equipment.

Craneware, Inc., based in Atlanta, has released the Value-based Pricing Analyzer, a new solution designed to simplify and automate the price modeling process. It’s designed to integrate with the company’s Chargemaster Toolkit to further optimize operational efficiency, compliance and financial performance.

SUNRx, a Bensalem, Pa.-based developer of automated solutions to help healthcare safety net organizations manage discount medication programs, has announced a partnership with Sebasticook Family Doctors of Newport, Me., to provide families in central Maine with discount medications through the federal 340B program.

Gemino Healthcare Finance, a Philadelphia-based financing company focused solely on providing senior loans to healthcare service providers, has closed a $50 million senior credit facility with Wells Fargo Capital Finance, part of Wells Fargo & Company.

Doctors Administrative Solutions, based in Tampa, Fla., has been selected by PrimeCare LLC as the EHR vendor of choice for its more than 200 physicians in Florida and will provide implementation of the Aprima Medical Software EHR and Practice Management solutions at PrimeCare’s 12 physician practices.

Novation, an Irving, Texas-based supply contracting company serving members of VHA, Inc., the University HealthSystem Consortium and Provista, LLC, has introduced a new committed portfolio designed to deliver easy, up-front savings and market-leading prices on select high-spend commodity categories. The company also announced that its final savings figures for national group buys which ended in September indicate more than $75 million in savings for members.

Henry Schein MicroMD, a Boardman, Ohio-based provider of EHR and Practice Management solutions, has announced that its software solutions have been selected by Amerinet for the insurer’s  network of more than 45,000 healthcare providers.

CSI Financial Services has entered into a co-marketing alliance to offer i9ts ClearBalance loan program in conjunction with the FHS Corporation’s FHSClearQuote solution, which offers providers a secure, web-based platform for combining information from contracts with payers, historic charges and current patient benefits to calculate a patient’s out-of-pocket responsibility.

The Integrated Healthcare Association of Oakland, Calif., has been awarded an 18-month, $281,000 grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to facilitate development of a performance-based contracting program that will be designed to enable California’s health plans to fairly and consistently measure the performance of physician group services for patients and then use that information to support value-based performance requirements.

Sunquest Information Systems of Tucson, Ariz., has announced that Sunquest Laboratory 6.4.2 has achieved 2011/2012 certification as a modular electronic health record in accordance with meaningful use criteria for hospitals from the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology.
