Vendor Notebook: Verisk Health certified by NCQA

Verisk Health, based in Waltham, Mass., has announced that its Sightlines Performance Measurement solution, designed to enable managed care organizations to review results quickly and easily for Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) quality measurement and reporting solutions, has been fully certified by the National Committee for Quality Assurance.

Management Health Solutions, a Fairfield, Conn.-based provider of supply chain optimization solutions for hospitals and healthcare systems, has launched Point-of-Use Bill-Only item software. The new application, designed as an add-on to the company’s Point-of-Use clinical module, helps healthcare providers manage bill-only items, vendor-managed inventory and samples in such areas as orthopedic implants, spinal instrumentation and specialty cardiology.

Benefitfocus, based in Charleston, S.C., has announced that CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, which serves more than 3.4 million customers in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia, is expanding its use of the Benefitfocus Platform to offer Benefitfocus eBilling to its direct-to-consumer market.
