MPV deal helps Denver cardiology clinics

Medical Present Value, Inc., an Austin, Texas-based provider of financial tools and services to manage payer contracts and audit reimbursement, has signed a contract to allow two Denver-based cardiology clinics to use the company’s Phynance application. Through a deal with MSO, Inc., a provider of practice management services for medical groups, Aurora Denver Cardiology Associates and Western Cardiology Associates will use Phynance to store contract data and claims history, then create customized analyses of how new contract terms will affect payments. “MPV allows us to analyze every claim at the line-item level and verify we are being paid correctly,” said Bill Johnson, CEO of Aurora Denver Cardiology.

Adaptis to sell CompCare’s healthcare services

Adaptis, a Seattle-based provider of business process integration solutions for healthcare payers, has signed a partnership deal with Tampa, Fla.-based CompCare, a specialty healthcare company focused on behavioral and medical care. Through the agreement, Adaptis will expand its offerings to include CompCare’s suite of Behavioral Health Benefits Management, Integrated Health Care Management, Substance Abuse Disease Management and ADHD Disease Management offerings.

ActiveHealth Management has a date with Destiny

New York-based ActiveHealth Management has announced that Destiny Health, a Chicago-based provider of wellness-based health insurance, has selected several of the company’s health management services. Destiny, with a membership of approximately 50,000, will make available to its members ActiveHealth’s CareEngine, Informed Care Management (disease management), Utilization Management, Case Management and Maternity Management services.  

Navicure’s RCM solutions appeal to Reading  Group

Navicure, based in Atlanta, has announced that The Reading Hospital Medical Group, a 185-physician network based in Reading, Pa., has selected a number of the company’s Web-based revenue cycle management solutions. RHMG will be synchronizing a number of disparate practice management systems with Navicure’s single RCM solution, which includes a core claims management application, electronic remittance posting product and advanced reporting suite.
