Navicure’s RCM solutions accredited by EHNAC
Navicure, an Atlanta-based provider of Web-based revenue cycle management solutions, has received full accreditation from the Electronic Healthcare Network Accreditation Committee (EHNAC). The company’s automated, Web-based RCM solutions, which include claims management, electronic remittance posting and secondary claims processing, are designed to help physician practices eliminate billing errors, identify payment trends and improve operational efficiency.
Spring Medical Systems, WFS Services form Alliance
Houston-based Spring Medical Systems, which provides software solutions for small and mid-sized medical practices, has formed an alliance with WFS Services, Inc., a revenue cycle management company. Through the partnership, Spring Medical will integrate its EHR application, SpringCharts, with WFS’ revenue cycle management products to provide a single data entry point for a practice and a “one-to-one” relationship between clinical and financial systems.
RemedyMD announces launch of OutcomeTrack
RemedyMD, Inc. of Salt Lake City has announced the launch of OutcomeTrack, designed to help hospitals and healthcare clinics support new quality improvement and pay-for-performance initiatives, including the Joint Commission and CMS Core Measures and the Physicians Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI). OutcomeTrack is integrated with myHealthManager to allow hospitals and clinics to expand upon the information collected now in their electronic medical records (EMRs) and to allow clinicians to capture data in real-time and at the point of care.
Orlando Orthopaedic Center selects MPV, Inc.
Medical Present Value, Inc. (MPV) of Austin, Texas has been selected by the Orlando Orthopaedic Center, a 13-physician specialty group based in central Florida, to help manage its payer contracts. The center will use MPV’s consulting services and Phynance technology to monitor payer contract performance and optimize collections. “Orthopaedic payer contracts and claims are particularly complex, and we needed a way to simplify the process for verifying accurate reimbursement for our payers,” said Kevin Joyce, the center’s executive director. “MPV’s applications enable us to easily identify underpaid or underallowed claims while also improving our payer relationships.”
