CHI Health opened two new Medical Centers and closed another on Friday, the Omaha-based system said on its website.
CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center, a level one trauma center and emergency department, was closed.

Opened were CHI Creighton University Medical Center-Bergan Mercy and University Campus. Bergan Mercy is a new Level One Trauma Center and Emergency Department with four trauma bays, two emergency helipads and 24 treatment rooms. There are also 20 observation rooms and a separate space for forensic exams and treatment of sexual assault victims, the system said.
The University Campus facility is an emergency department with 19 treatment rooms.
