House Republicans, believing they have the votes to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act, are expecting to vote today on a new healthcare bill.

The House has scheduled votes at 10:15 a.m. and 1:15 p.m., with the repeal vote likely in the afternoon, according to Politico.

Republicans need 216 votes. At least 16 Republicans are still on record as rejecting the proposal and about a dozen more are undecided, Politico said.

The Congressional Budget Office has yet to score the plan that Democrats and at least two provider groups have said will cause millions to lose affordable coverage.

Republicans have tried to assure members of their own party who are still on the fence by including an additional $8 billion for federally-funded high risk pools for states that opt out of providing essential benefits and cover pre-existing conditions through waivers.
