Software application products of the Atlanta-based Eclipsys Corp. will be offered to members of Premier, Inc. through an agreement announced Tuesday between the application developer and the group purchasing organization.
Premier Purchasing Partners LP, a subsidiary of 1,700-member Premier, signed an agreement with Eclipsys, making it a contracted supplier.
Eclipsys executives said they plan to market their Sunrise Enterprise financial and clinical solutions to Premier members.
The agreement will give Eclipsys greater access to the more than 1,700 acute care hospitals that belong to the Premier alliance, which also has a field force of more than 100 staff and consultants that provide direction on application solution to members.
"With the significant market opportunity for replacement of antiquated revenue cycle solutions, this agreement with Premier gives Eclipsys a nice entry point to hundreds of potential prospects," said Jay Deady, executive vice president of client solutions at Eclipsys.
