Healthcare banking vendors GHN, RMS join forces

By Healthcare Finance Staff

Two Midwestern vendors with footprints in the healthcare finance sector are joining forces to market a single claims processing and remittance solution for healthcare banking.

GHN-Online, a Dallas-based provider of real-time revenue cycle management solutions, announced Monday that it has formed an alliance with Revenue Management Solutions, an Oklahoma City, Okla.-based provider of medical payment and remitting solutions. The two companies will integrate GHN's clean-claims technology and predictive analytics tools with RMS' software for explanation of benefits (EOB) conversion, reconciliation, posting and contract management.

"Our combined capabilities drive an entirely new business model for healthcare banking by providing a single and streamlined revenue cycle management solution that spans clean-claims submission to receivables postings," said Azadeh Farahmand, GHN's CEO. "This model will effectively improve revenue flow for healthcare providers while lowering rising administrative healthcare costs."

"Our hand-in-glove relationship with GHN gives healthcare providers the best way to submit a clean, HIPAA-compliant claim combined with RMS' automated processes to remit and post the claim," added Tom Dean, RMS' CEO. "This is a complete revenue cycle management solution that improves the entire healthcare banking value chain. GHN does everything it can on the front end to ensure a claim will be paid, and RMS handles the back end by automatically posting remittances, acting upon exceptions and processing the next claim."
