Healthcare Realty Trust sells two facilities for $97 million

Nashville firm sold a 118,000-square-foot orthopedic inpatient surgical hospital and an attached 58,000 square foot medical office building.

Nashville-based Healthcare Realty Trust said it recently sold two healthcare properties in Indianapolis, Indiana for $97 million.

The company, a real estate investment trust whose $3.3 billion portfolio includes 199 healthcare properties, said it sold a 118,000-square-foot orthopedic inpatient surgical hospital and an attached 58,000 square foot medical office building in the deal.

The publicly traded company had a market capitalization of $2.37 billion as of Monday morning. It earned $32 million profit in fiscal 2014 and most recently posted a profit of $5.4 million in the first quarter of 2015.
