Humana is leaving the Obamacare marketplace in Utah, the state's Department of Insurance confirmed Friday.
Humana will stop offering plans on the state's individual insurance marketplace in 2017, said spokesman Steve Gooch.
Humana's exit leaves only three insurers in the state which will be offering plans in the marketplace, he said. These include Molina, SelectHealth and University of Utah Health Plans.
Two years ago, six insurers offered plans in the state.

Nearly 9,000 residents will have to find new coverage on the federal marketplace, according to published sources.
Humana's decision to leave the Affordable Care Act market in Utah follows announcements by numerous other insurers of their exits from the exchange business amid financial losses in that product.
Earlier this month, Aetna said it was leaving the exchange market in all but four states.
In its second-quarter earnings report earlier this month, Humana gave notice of its intent to scale back its ACA business for next year from 15 states to 11, cutting the number of counties in which it offers marketplace plans from 1,351 to 156.
