Insurance company introduces its own PPO network in Ohio

American Community Mutual Insurance Company has introduced its own proprietary medical provider network in Ohio, claiming it will save policyholders an average of 5 percent on medical premiums.

"By combining a strong, extensive network with American Community's flexible health plans, the AC Provider Network gives employers and individuals a new viable option for controlling healthcare costs while receiving excellent coverage," said Eric Hales, Director of Network Development and Provider Relations.

Policyholders have access to 82 hospitals and more than 6,400 providers at 10,000 locations throughout Ohio by joining the AC Provider Network.

The AC Provider Network is available on all American Community Group and Individual health plans that include a PPO network, including: APEP Choices, American's Omega Solutions, Community Flex, Coverage on Demand, Latitude, Next Generation HAS and Triple Tier.
