The just-signed repeal of the sustainable growth rate was a big deal for physicians, saving them from a significant cut in Medicare payments had lawmakers failed to pass a bill. But the bipartisanship that congressional leaders celebrated was a little too much to bear for The Daily Show host Jon Stewart, especially since it took 18 years for Congress to make the "doc fix" permanent. The comedian did a 7-minute segment on the SGR bill, taking lawmakers to task for the celebration.
