MGMA shakes up board of directors, names Baylor Scott and White execs chair

The incoming board includes a new chair, Ronald W. Holder Jr., and five new board members.

The Medical Group Management Association has made changes to its 2016-2017 board of directors. The incoming board includes a new chair, Ronald W. Holder Jr., and five new board members comprised of healthcare business executives from around the country.

Holder is a vice president of Baylor Scott and White Health in Temple, Texas. He has served more than six years on MGMA's board of directors and brings over 21 years of experience in healthcare administration to the role.

He is also a member of American College of Medical Practice Executives, Administrators of Internal Medicine, Healthcare Financial Management Association and American College of Healthcare Executives.

Among MGMA's new board members is Mike Biselli, president and CEP of Catalyst Health-Tech Innovation. Biselli is currently leading the development of a new co-working campus in Denver's River North District, Catalyst Health-Tech Innovation, which will bring together startups and well-established industry leaders like MGMA to "re-imagine" healthcare.
