Facility to be named the Michael and Ann Ciresi Midwest Fetal Care Center
Abbott Northwestern Hospital and Children's Hospitals Clinics of Minnesota this week broke ground on the new Midwest Fetal Care Center, the healthcare providers announced.
The center, which will share space with the Allina Health-operated Minnesota Perinatal Physicians Clinic, was partly financed by a $1 million donation from Mike Ciresi, a Minnesota attorney and former chair of the Children's Foundation, and his wife Ann.
The new center, which focuses on treating fetal abnormalities or conditions in a baby before birth, will be named the Michael and Ann Ciresi Midwest Fetal Care Center.
Allina Health runs the Abbott Northwestern Hospital.
