Cleveland’s MetroHealth System has appointed Craig Richmond as senior vice president and chief financial officer. Richmond previously served as MetroHealth’s vice president of revenue cycle and was appointed associate chief financial officer in May 2013.

Ken Perez has been named vice president of healthcare policy for Omnicell, Inc. In this role, he will engage in thought leadership work regarding legislative, regulatory and healthcare industry developments.

USMD Holdings, Inc., a physician-led integrated health system in Irving, Texas, has appointed Carolyn Jones as chief financial officer and executive vice president.

UnityPoint Health-Methodist/Proctor of Peoria, Ill. has selected Keith Knepp, MD, as executive vice president and COO. Knepp has previously served as chief medical informatics officer of Methodist Medical Group, now UnityPoint Health Clinic, and of Methodist Medical Center, both in Peoria, Ill.

Express Scripts Holding Company has named Cathy R. Smith as executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective February 10, 2014. She joins Express Scripts from Walmart International, where she has been executive vice president of strategy and CFO since February 2010.

Skilled Healthcare Group, Inc. has announced that Jose Lynch, the company's president and COO, will be leaving to pursue other professional opportunities. He has led the company’s long-term care operations segment since 2002.

Cigna has named Michael Phillips as president and general manager for the Midwest market, a region comprising the states of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
