Abington Health, a not-for-profit, regional healthcare system, has been formed to serve the Montgomery, Bucks and Philadelphia counties of Pennsylvania.
“Abington Health will provide the trusted care the community has come to expect from its flagship hospital, Abington Memorial Hospital, at more facilities and centers throughout the area,” said Richard L. Jones, Jr., president and CEO of Abington Memorial Hospital. “As our tagline says, ‘our power to health is stronger than ever.’”
Abington Health is comprised of two suburban hospitals, Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington and Lansdale Hospital in Hatfield Township, and includes outpatient facilities Schilling Campus in Willow Grove, Warminster Campus in Bucks County and Abington Physicians at Montgomeryville in North Wales.
The facilities record more than 44,000 inpatient, 123,000 emergency department and more than 560,000 outpatient visits annually.
Abington Health Physicians is a network of specialists and primary care physicians employed by Abington Memorial Hospital and Lansdale Hospital.

Abington Health employs more than 6,100 people, making it one of the largest employers in Montgomery County. The medical staff consists of more than 1,200 primary care physicians and medical and surgical specialists, as well as more than 125 physicians-in-training in five residency programs. Aproximately 1,300 volunteers donate their time and services, and more than $45 million in free care is provided to the community each year.
Abington Memorial Hospital is the flagship 665-bed, regional referral center and teaching hospital, and the only Level II accredited trauma center in Montgomery County.
