Seventeen healthcare organizations and professionals from New York who have shown a “strong commitment” to quality improvement are being honored by IPRO, a national healthcare assessment organization.
The Quality Awards are given annually by IPRO, of Lake Success, N.Y., which is contracted by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to help New York healthcare organizations improve care delivery for Medicaid beneficiaries. IPRO holds contracts with federal, state and loval agencies as well as private-sector clients in more than 33 states and Washington D.C.
"While they are different from one another in many respects, what unites this group of awardees is a strong commitment to quality improvement," said Clare B. Bradley MD, the company's senior vice president and CMO. "Quality improvement is a complex and time-consuming process, and we thank them for their dedication to this effort, and for their achievements."
The awards will be presented during IPRO's 26th Annual Meeting, to be held June 8 in East Elmhurst, N.Y.
