Post Acute Medical purchased and will begin immediate operation of 40-bed Hill Country Specialty Hospital in New Braunfels, Texas.
Post Acute Medical said the acquisition is the first of four new hospitals it is adding in the region. As of Oct. 1, Hill Country has changed its name to Warm Springs Specialty Hospital of New Braunfels, a subsidiary of Post Acute Medical, LLC.
Based in Camp Hill, Pa., Post Acute Medical provides post-acute healthcare, including LTACHs, rehabilitation hospitals, skilled nursing, outpatient rehabilitation in eight locations and an assisted living brain injury residential center.
