Retail healthcare juggernaut ZOOMCare+ expands Seattle footprint with two new clinics

Company also brings with it signature online tool ChatCare, plans to open a further three clinics by year's end.

Portland-based retail healthcare trailblazer ZOOM+Care is further expanding its footprint in Seattle with the opening of two more neighborhood clinics in the Bellevue and Capitol Hill areas, the company announced Tuesday.

There are also plans to unveil another three clinics in the greater Seattle area by the end of the year. With those additions, ZOOM+Care will own and operate 12 Seattle clinics and 28 in Portland.

The company will also bring its trademark ChatCare to Seattle, which enables diagnosis and treatment via online chat with their physicians.

ZOOM+Care opened its first clinic in Portland, Oregon in 2006. Its first Seattle clinic opened in 2010. ZOOM+Care is known for consumer-friendly services like online scheduling, 96% on-time starts, timeline with complete visit history, on-site pharmacy and labs, and ChatCare as well as same-day urgent, primary and specialist visits.

"Close to 1M patients have Zoomed," the company said in a statement.
