Diversinet, allone mobile sign revenue-sharing deal

The Diversinet Corp. of Toronto has signed a license and revenue sharing agreement with Pennsylvania-based AllOne Mobile with regard to the company’s joint efforts to make personal health records available through secure mobile access. The five-year agreement allows Diversinet, which provides secure application platforms for mobile devices through its MobiSecure Wallet and Vault products, to receive up to $39.5 million from AllOne, which supplies the mobile applications.

Bridgehealth joins forces with Passport Health

BridgeHealth International, Inc., a Denver-based provider of medical travel services, has announced a partnership with Baltimore-based Passport Health, allowing BridgeHealth to offer Passport’s portfolio of pre- and post-travel medical services to its customers. Passport, which counsels 60,000 clients each month, offers destination-specific travel information, immunizations, specialty travel products and international travel health insurance. BridgeHealth serves health plans, insurance carriers, employers, third party administrators, health plans and individuals.

Metavante launches ‘Bensoft’ application

Metavante, a Milwaukee-based developer of banking and payments technology, has announced the availability of ‘BenSoft,’ a software solution that combines the company’s RepayMe flexible benefits administration platform with healthcare payments processing and benefit debit card solutions. The new suite of services creates a single-source benefit administration and payment platform, including interoperable benefit account access and health/wealth decision-support tools, that combines RepayMe’s account administration intellectual capital and software and Metavante’s Benefit Payment System and WealthCare Card platform.

Visionshare, foresight plan claims submitting tools

VisionShare, Inc. of Minneapolis is joining forces with The Foresight Corporation of Columbus, Ohio to develop online self-service tools for healthcare claims submitters and insurance payers, including Medicare contractors. The two vendors will offer Total OnBoarding, an automated, online self-service system that guides claims submitters through the process of registration, identity verification, testing and establishing a direct, secure connection to a payer for claims processing and other electronic transactions.
