Eulogix adds ECP to medical records software
Eulogix, a Houston-based provider of electronic medical records software for mental and behavioral health providers, is adding electronic claims processing to its platform. The 14-year-old branch business of Computer Tech launched the Convergent Therapy Information System (CTIS) on May 15. “The addition of claims processing to CTIS provides the key functionality often requested by prospective customers who are looking for behavioral health-specific electronic records together with electronic claims reimbursement,” said Paul Graff, director of product development for Eulogix.
MPV adds TeraHealth to boost eligibility tools
Medical Present Value (MPV), Inc., an Austin, Texas-based provider of financial tools and services to manage payer contracts and audit reimbursement, has acquired TeraHealth, a Plymouth, Mass.-based provider of insurance and benefits verification software and services. TeraHealth’s products are designed to help physician groups improve the eligibility process by electronically gathering co-pay, benefits and deductible information in real-time.
Unibased Systems signs deal for Revenue360 use
Unibased Systems Architecture, Inc. of Chesterfield, Mo. is joining forces with Provider Advantage NW, Inc. of Beaverton, Ore. to help healthcare payers address financial issues associated with uninsured and charity patients. Using provider Advantage’s Revenue360 software, USA clients will be able to validate patient demographics, select the most appropriate time and location for services, determine insurance eligibility, assure medical necessity compliance and estimate the patient’s out-of-pocket expenses. The entire process can be done during the registration process.
HealthWare systems launches ActiveCHECK module
HealthWare Systems, an Elgin, Ill.-based provider of software services to improve workflow processes in the revenue cycle, has launched ActiveCHECK, a product designed to promote registration accuracy through integration with the company’s ActiveWARE platform. ActiveCHECK ties multiple disciplines into one platform, allowing providers to check and correct all registration data, including address correction and standardization, delivery point verification, positive patient identification, patient-specific directives and alerts, forms automation and registrar reviews.
