GetWellNetwork, daisy team up to reward nurses

GetWellNetwork, Inc., a Bethesda, Md.-based provider of interactive patient care solutions, is teaming up with the DAISY Foundation to help boost nurse morale and retention rates. GetWellNetwork will provide an online resource with its bedside IPC system to allow hospital patients and their families to vote for the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses. “The partnership with the DAISY Foundation provides patients with the opportunity to speak their mind about their care experience and pay tribute to the nurses that have made a difference in their lives,” said Michael J. O’Neill, Jr., GetWellNetwork’s founder and CEO.

Chesapeake solutions unveils T-Recs Enterprise

Chesapeake System Solutions, Inc. of Owings Mills, Md. has rolled out T-Recs Enterprise. The new product, which stands for Total Reconciliation Solution, is designed to give healthcare providers the ability to comply with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 and other corporate financial governance standards, including implementing internal controls and procedures for financial reporting and attesting to their effectiveness. T-Recs Enterprise automates the review-and-approval process or a matching process and can reconcile both cash and non-cash accounts.  

Connextions adds functions to 2 products

Connextions, Inc. of Orlando, Fla. has added new functions to two of its Software-as-a-Service-based products, the Market Compass analytics suite and bConnected Customer Relationship Management platform, to meet the growing need of health insurance plans. Market Compass is a portfolio of analytical tools that enable health plans to measure, forecast and optimize customer acquisition and retention programs. The company’s bConnected CRM platform, which is tailored to meet the needs of health plans, harvests information as a means to manage and improve the customer experience for plan members.  

NCR, Sage Software announce partnership

The NCR Corp. of Dayton, Ohio, is partnering with Sage Software Healthcare, Inc. of Tampa, Fla. to provide physician practices with an integrated solution that combines NCR’s MediKiosk with Intergy EHR by Sage. The partnership is intended to give healthcare providers more tools to manage their operations more efficiently, including financial, clinical and administrative processes.
