Navicure joins group for electronic data interchange
Navicure, an Atlanta-based provider of Web-based revenue cycle management solutions, has announced that it has joined the Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange (WEDI). Besides helping to develop industry policies and standards, the company will have access to WEDI’s recommendations and guidelines as to how best to interpret and implement healthcare transaction sets, government regulations and policies. “WEDI is a very well-respected organization with an extensive membership,” said Navicure President/CEO James Denny.
Surgical notes, JC data launch eob tracker
Surgical Notes and JC Data Solutions, Inc. have joined forces to create the EOB Tracker, an electronic data management solution that ties patient files to Explanation of Benefits (EOB) provided by insurance companies. The system captures scanned documents from a lock box, mail processing or over-the-counter processing and creates a searchable, HIPAA-compliant database. A user can then match EOBs with patient charts, quickly finding and correcting discrepancies on bill payments.
trizetto signs agreement with fla.’s health first
The TriZetto Group, Inc. of Newport Beach, Calif. has signed a software hosting and business process outsourcing agreement with Florida’s 65,500-member Health First Health Plans. Under the agreement, TriZetto will host and manage on behalf of Health First its Facets Extended Enterprise core administrative system, HealthWeb Internet platform and specialized software components including the Facets e2 Workflow application and consumer-directed application, which process employer-funded health reimbursement arrangements and employee-funded flexible spending accounts.
