UnitedHealth Group's Optum Division will acquire a medical practice in Massachusetts, according to Seeking Alpha.

The company's Atrius Health affiliate has reached an agreement to acquire Acton Medical Associates in Acton, Massachusetts, the report said,

Financial terms have not been disclosed. UnitedHealth Group did not immediately return a request for comment.

The physician-owned, community-based primary care practice was founded in 1955, according to the medical group. It employs 45 doctors.

Atrius Health was acquired by Optum in 2022.

The acquisition signals that Optum will continue to grow its physician network and broaden its presence in primary care, Bloomberg reported.
