Vendor Notebook: Cymetrix announces collaborations with Seattle's UW Medicine, San Diego's CSI Financial Services

Cymetrix, an Irvine, Calif.-based provider of revenue cycle management solutions, has announced a collaboration with Seattle-based UW Medicine to provide self-pay accounts receivable management services to two of the three hospitals in the medical system. The company has also announced a co-marketing alliance with San Diego-based CSI Financial Services to include CSI’s loan programs in Cymetrix’s RCM solutions.

DST Health Solutions of Birmingham, Ala., has announced a business alliance with Health Data Vision, Inc., to integrate HDI’s Medical Records Collection and Analysis system with DST’s CaraAnalyzer solution.

Ingenious Med, an Atlanta-based developer of mobile platforms to automate the activities of physicians when they are away from their offices, has completed a vetting process by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to achieve official status as a 2010 Physician Quality Reporting Initiative Registry.

Emdeon, Inc., a Nashville-based provider of healthcare revenue and payment cycle management solutions, has announced a partnership with the Noridian Mutual Insurance Company, doing business as Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota, and Noridian Administrative Services, LLC.

Gemino Healthcare Finance of Philadelphia has announced the closing of three transactions,
totaling $10.75 million, in July: a $4.75 million credit facility for a home health agency for the acquisition of a Florida-based company; a $3 million revolving line of credit for a Florida-based diagnostic imaging company for working capital and general corporate purposes; and a $3 million revolving line of credit for a California-based behavioral health company to pay off existing debt.
