MphasiS Healthcare Solutions, a health benefit management and business process outsourcing services vendor, has announced the release of CDHpac, a tool for health benefits management with a consumer-directed healthcare plan option designed for healthcare payers. The plan integrates with Mphasis’ HEALThpac 4 tool and allows employees to obtain 24-hour access to financial healthcare account information through an employer-branded Web site.

GE Healthcare of Barrington, Ill. has announced that the University of North Carolina Health Care System, Chapel Hill has selected GE’s Centricity Business Solution.

Tenrox, a Pasadena, Calif.-based provider of workflow-driven project workforce management solutions, has been selected by Synteract, a privately held, full-service contract research organization in Carlsbad, Calif., to automate and manage all of the company’s project, workforce and regulatory compliance processes.

Edifecs, Inc. of Bellevue, Wash., a provider of B2B solutions, has entered into an agreement with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina to deploy Edifecs SpecBuilder and Ramp Manager products to enhance BCBSNC’s electronic data interchange partner-testing and on-boarding processes for HIPAA and other healthcare transactions.

The Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH) has authorized the Claredi certification testing solution from Washington, D.C.-based Ingenix for confirming that healthcare organizations’ IT systems and IT vendor products comply with Committee on Operating Rules for Information Exchange (CORE) Phase I rules.
