SimplexityMD, a Houston-based disruptive medical device technology and new venture company, has added OrthoAccel Technologies, Inc. to its portfolio of client companies.

St. Petersburg, Fla.-based CareMedic Systems, a vendor of proactive financial management solutions for hospitals and providers, has announced the availability of SecondaryGold, a solution that allows customers to focus on primary claims while CareMedic manages secondary claim processing and follow-up.  The company has also released its first integrated revenue cycle performance management dashboard, integrated with its AccelerateAR MedicalRT solution.

Boston-based Urix, a provider of healthcare business intelligence and predictive modeling solutions, has announced a multi-year contract with Physicians Health Plan of Northern Iowa, Inc., a physician-sponsored, not-for-profit health maintenance organization, to use the Urix Analytic Platform to deliver reports to evaluate claims experience for their insured and self-funded customers.

Informedix Holdings, Inc. of Rockville, Md. has announced that it has completed a new channel partner agreement with IT consulting firm RICHMAR and Associates, allowing RICHMAR to market and sell Informedix's Med-eMonitor System to federal and state government agencies as well as Veterans Administration sustomers.

Denver-based Lawson Software has selected The Breakaway Group to provide content for the Lawson Learning Accelerator, a simulation-based training tool for Lawson applications. The tool is modeled after The Breakaway Group's "Speed to Proficiency" method, which accelerates end-user software adoption through simulations and coaching.

Florida Capital Bank, N.A., an operating bank of Florida Capital Group, Inc. has partnered with ConnectYourCare, a consumer-directed healthcare platform provider, to launch an integrated CDH platform for administering health savings accounts (HSAs), health reimbursement arrangements (HRAs) and flexible spending accounts (FSAs).
