Inteck, a Denver-based information technology consulting firm, has announced that it has expanded its services with the introduction of a Receivables Management System and Vendor Management Program. The new services are designed to improve a hospital's IT system by increasing revenue, obtaining additional cash and reducing write-offs.

Tenrox, a Pasadena, Calif-based vendor of workflow-driven Project Workforce Management solutions, has signed an agreement with Microsoft that allows the company to offer the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 under the Microsoft ISV Royalty license program and Services Provider Licensing Agreement in a new version of its Project Workforce Management.

Fort Washington, Pa.-based RAM Technologies, Inc., a developer of software solutions for healthcare payers, has announced that FamilyCare, Inc. of Portland, Ore. has selected its HEALTHsuite enterprise administrative software solution to administer its Medicare and Medicaid product offerings.

Presbyterian Healthcare Services of Albuquerque, New Mexico's largest provider of health services, has implemented an analytics technology developed by Practical Data Solutions to improve processes in managing reimbursement denials.

Nashville, Tenn.-based Healthways, Inc. and the Community Health Group of San Diego have announced a three-year deal to provide Healthways' Care Support services to select CHG members.

Hospira, Inc., a Lake Forest, Ill.-based hospital products company, has completed the acquisition of Mayne Pharma Limited, an Australian specialty injectible pharmaceuticals company, for about $2.1 billion, including options. The deal significantly expands Hospira's global footprint and doubles its international sales to nearly 30 percent of the company's total sales.

The CorVel Corporation of Irvine, Calif. has announced the acquisition of the assets of Hazelrigg Risk Management Services, Inc., a California-based provider of integrated medical management, claims processing and technology services for workers' compensation claims, and its affiliated companies. The acquisition represents a substantial expansion of CorVel's Enterprise Comp service, a fully integrated end-to-end claims management solution directed toward the self-insured and public-sector markets.

MTBC, a Somerset, N.J.-based healthcare IT company, has acquired Advanced Physicians Billing, Inc., a medical billing company based in Miami.
