Vendor Notebook: H.D. Smith selected as primary pharmaceutical supplier

H.D. Smith, a Springfield, Ill.-based pharmaceutical wholesaler, has been selected by the Moffitt Cancer Center as its primary pharmaceutical supplier of critical therapies designed to help patients undergoing treatment for cancer. Under terms of the agreement, H.D. Smith will provide medical product supply chain services to Tampa, Fla.-based Moffitt.
GHX, based in Louisville, Colo., has announced that the SwedishAmerican Health System, headquartered in Rockford, Ill., will use the company’s software solutions and business consulting services to help it automate and optimize its procure-too-pay process.
The Huron Consulting Group, a Chicago-based provider of business consulting services, has announced that its Wellspring+Stockamp division has formed an alliance with Apollo Health Street, a Conshohocken, Pa.-based provider of revenue cycle services, to serve its healthcare clients.
