Benefit Informatics, a Tulsa, Okla.-based healthcare technology partner for self-insured benefit plan administrators, has added Sparks, Nev.-based CDS Group Health as a customer.

Canopy Financial, a San Francisco-based provider of technology solutions that connect healthcare and financial services, has contracted with Chicago-based Wolters Kluwer Financial Services, a provider of compliance, content and technology solutions. Through the relationship, Canopy's HealthDirect Health Savings Account technology platform has been intergrated into Wolters Kluwer Financial Services' new HSA Director.

The Burgess Group of Alexandria, Va. has signed a two-year contract with Veridign Health Solutions, a Philadelphia-based third-party administrator subsidiary of Independence Blue Cross that offers Medicare Advantage administrative services for insurers, health plans, employers and providers in the Medicare, Medicaid and group retiree health plan markets. Under the contract, Veridign will be a licensed user of the Burgess Reimbursement System Medicare pricing and analysis software.

Healthways, Inc., a Nashville-based provider of Health and Care Support services, and CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield have announced an expansion of their relationship to make Healthways' Impact Conditions program, which provides evidence-based support to people living with a variety of conditions, available to CareFirst's fully insured members.

Charlotte, N.C.-based Cogdell Spencer Inc. has agreed to acquire 100 percent of the stock of Marshall Erdman and Associates, a design-build firm that specializes in the advance planning, designing and building of healthcare facilities throughout the United States. By integrating Erdman's platform with Cogdell Spencer's portfolio management, the company will offer a full range of healthcare real estate services to an expanded client base that includes healthcare systems, physician tenants and practice groups.

The Emergency Medical Services Corporation of Greenwood Village, Colo. has announced that its EmCare emergency department management services operation has entered into agreements with Christus Santa Rosa Health Care in San Antonio, Texas and three Pacific Health Corporation hospitals in Southern California to provide emergency department management services.

The TriZetto Group of Newport Beach, Calif. has announced the availability of TriZetto Member Benefit Profile and TriZetto Treatment Cost Navigator to healthcare payers. In addition to these new solutions, TriZetto's Benefit Cost Modeler has also been enhanced.

SRSsoft of Montvale, N.J. has announced that Jackson, Miss.-based Capital Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Center has deployed the company's Clinical Manager in a record 44 business days.

Benefitfocus, of Charleston, S.C., has announced a partnership with Hunt Valley, Md.-based ConnectYourCare, a provider of consumer-directed healthcare account management solutions, in order to create a product that supports employer demand for flexible account-based benefit solutions.

HTP, Inc. of Columbus, Ohio has announced the release of HTP RevRunner 3.5, a software suite that is designed to enable hospitals to simplify and enhance management of the revenue cycle.

Medegen, Inc., an Ontario, Calif.-based provider of medical devices, components and manufacturing services for the healthcare industry, has opened a manufacturing plant in Tijuana, Mexico. The new plant will enable the company, through its Manufacturing Services operating unit, to meet the heightened demand for outsourced contract manufacturing as the medical device market is forecast to grow at an annual rate of 10 percent.
