Vendor Notebook - Lawson delivers enterprise financial systems to university medical center

Lawson Software, based in St. Paul, Minn., has announced that Oklahoma State University Medical Center will implement the Lawson S3 Enterprise Financial Management and Supply Chain Management suites.

Consumer Health Technologies, a Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based provider of consumer-directed healthcare (CDHC) software and services, has released version 2.7 of its BenefitSpan benefits administration and service aggregation platform, featuring expanded investment options and investment automation capabilities.

The Clearwave Corporation of Atlanta has announced that the Atlanta Women’s Health Group will install the company’s real-time patient registration and insurance eligibility authentication solution in all 26 of its locations.

The CPM Marketing Group, a Madison, Wis.-based developer of healthcare customer relationship management (CRM) and strategic marketing solutions, has announced that the Advocate Health System, the largest healthcare provider in Illinois, has implemented the company’s physician relationship management (PRM) system to assist hospitals in building and maintaining relationships with physicians. The system includes physician database construction, management, advanced real-time analytics, mapping, reporting, contract management and performance monitoring.

The Eliza Corporation, a Beverly, Mass.-based developer of integrated healthcare communications strategies, has announced that BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee has chosen the company to provide automated outbound member communications software and services.

Upp Technology, Inc., based in Downers Grove, Ill., has been selected by the City of New Orleans Department of Homeland Security and the City of New Orleans Fire Department to supply the irms/EM emergency management solution, deployed on the irms/Go-Kit, for a mobile inventory management system to track emergency medical inventory in warehouses and storerooms. In addition, the Maryland Department of Health has selected the company to provide a centralized inventory management solution to manage the state’s healthcare inventory across 24 local health departments.

T-System, based in Dallas, has announced that Graham Hospital in Canton, Ill., has seen an increase of 35 percent in patient revenues per-visit over the past two years through implementation of the company’s electronic emergency department information system (EDIS). The company had been using a home-grown system before making the switch.

AOD Software, based in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has announced the release of AnswersElite version 10, a comprehensive integrated long term care management solution covering financials, electronic health records and other related systems such as rehabilitation services.
