Health Language, Inc., an Aurora, Colo.-based supplier of language engine technology for medical vocabulary, has announced a partnership with BridgeForward Software, a supplier of interface engine technology of the U.S. and U.K. healthcare markets, to provide full data interoperability to enhance patient safety and revenue cycle management.

RES-Q Healthcare Systems of Calabasas, Calif. has announced that Resurrection Health Care of Chicago has signed a master license agreement for the enterprise-wide purchase and implementation of the RES-Q Labor Resource Management system for all eight of its hospitals.

CDW Healthcare of Vernon Hills, Ill. has entered into an agreement with the iMedica Corporation, a developer of software systems for physician practices, to deploy hardware solutions compatible with iMedica's Patient Relationship Manager software. The PRM software, fully integrated into solutions from CDW Healthcare, combines electronic health record and practice management capabilities into a single application operating from a unified database.

DocSite, a Raleigh, N.C.-based provider of Web-based patient registries and point-of-care decision support, has announced that it has been selected by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services as a participant in pilot tests of methods for electronically reporting measurement data for the Physician Quality Reporting Index (PQRI).

Gold Standard, Inc. of Tampa, Fla. has upgraded OnFormulary, its Web-based formulary reference tool, with the ability to search by BIN/PCN number and has added low-income subsidy formularies and new reporting for plan/drug alternatives. Pharmacists and prescribers now have access to more than 4,500 plans, including state Medicaid and Medicare Part D formularies.

 

Asolva, Inc., a Los Angeles-based developer of technology solutions, has released Quocient, a next-generation software tool designed for the collection and analysis of survey, audit and inspection data.

Quilogy, a St. Charles, Mo.-based provider of IT professional services and certified training, has unveiled Quilogy Policy and Procedures, a management systems designed to align information workers, business processes, data and technology.

US Script, Inc. of Fresno, Calif. has announced that it has received Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) accreditation from URAC, a Washington, D.C.-based healthcare accrediting organization that establishes quality standards for the healthcare industry.

Aperio Technologies, Inc., a Vista, Calif.-based provider of digital pathology services, has completed a $20 million Series C financing. The company will use the money to accelerate clinical market development, expand sales and operations and develop new products.

The TriZetto Group of Newport Beach, Calif. has released Facets 4.51, the newest version of the company's enterprise-wide core administration software designed to help healthcare payers improve productivity, enhance service and enable growth.

Passport Health Communications, Inc. of Franklin, Tenn. has announced that, through an agreement with Database Solutions, Inc., PHC will give the more than 4,000 hospitals, physician practices and other healthcare providers in its client base access to DSI's AccuReg registration quality improvement technology. The agreement also allows DSI to expand its breadth of offerings to providers to include Passport's patient insurance eligibility verification, medical necessity compliance and financial products.
