Watertown, Mass.-based athenahealth, Inc has signed a deal with the Colorado Medical Society, based in Denver, to allow the company's on-demand clinical and revenue-cycle management services to be offered to CMS member physicians at preferred pricing. The company has also signed contracts with FirstHealth Family Care Centers of Pinehurst, N.C. (for athenaClinicals) and the Methodist Hospital System of Houston (for athenaCollector).

Lawson Software of St. Paul. Minn. has announced the general availability of Lawson QuickStep Healthcare, a pre-configured ERP application package that delivers enterprise software solutions designed to help healthcare providers achieve faster business results. In addition, the company has announced that Holland (Mich.) Hospital has licensed the Lawson Enterprise Financial Management, Supply Chain Management and Business Intelligence suites and Crittenton Hospital Medical Center in Rochester Hills, Mich. has licensed the Lawson Human Capital Management, Enterprise Financial and Supply Chain Management suites.

Infocrossing, Inc., a Leonia, N.J.-based provider of selective IT infrastructure, enterprise application and business process outsourcing solutions, has unveiled its new Rapid Implementation Process for Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D plans. The process is part of Infocrossing’s Payment Reconciliation Services and Medicare Support Services packages.
