MedAssets, Inc., an Atlanta-based group purchasing organization and developer of spend management and revenue cycle solutions, recently hosted more than 60 suppliers and 250 healthcare provider representatives at its eighth annual Technology and Innovation Forum in St. Louis.

ZeOmega
, a Frisco, Texas-based provider of care management software solutions and services, has announced a partnership with Eldorado Computing, Inc., a Phoenix, Ariz.-based provider of health benefit and claims management platforms, to offer an integrated care and benefits management solution that integrates ZeOmega’s Jiva care management software with Eldorado’s Javelina browser-based healthcare claims and benefit platform.

Consumer Health Technologies, Inc.
, based in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has announced that Employee Benefit Resources, Inc., based in Erie, Pa., will use the company’s BenefitSpan benefits administration and consumer-directed healthcare services delivery platform.

The Financial Healthcare Systems Corporation
(FHSCorp) of Denver has announced a partnership with Vecna Technologies of Cambridge, Mass., to integrate FHSCorp’s ClearQuote technology with Vecna’s QC Kiosk, adding patient estimation services to point-of-care and patient self-service registration kiosk functions.

, a Murfreesboro, Tenn.-based provider of revenue cycle tools and services for hospitals, has announced that Jordan Hospital of Plymouth, Mass., will implement ClaimTrust InSight Denials.

Capario, a Santa Ana, Calif.-based provider of revenue cycle management solutions that connect payers with providers, has released an updated version of its RCM provider portal application.

McKesson, headquartered in Atlanta, has announced that Crittenton Hospital Medical Center in Rochester, Mich., is deploying the company’s Horizon Enterprise Revenue Management solution.

The MRO Corp., a King of Prussia, Pa.-based provider of release-of-information, audit tracking and document management solutions for healthcare providers, has announced that Audit Tracker Online and ROI Online have achieved Platinum level integration certification status from Executive Health Resources, a provider of medical necessity compliance and denials management solutions.

Tailwind Capital, a New York-based private equity firm, has completed an investment in SDI Health, a Plymouth Meeting, Pa.-based provider of healthcare analytics solutions.

Quantros, Inc., a San Francisco-based developer of healthcare data management, decision support analytics and prospective point-of-care data surveillance solutions, has acquired the MediQual clinical analytics and reporting business from San Diego-based CareFusion.

eWebHealth, a Reading, Mass.-based provider of electronic workflow solutions for medical records, has announced that St. Francis Hospital in Charlestown, W.Va., will be using the company’s eWebHIM suite of technology as its complete electronic legal health record (e-LHR) solution.

SUNRx, a Mount Laurel, N.J.-based provider of automated solutions for federally qualified health centers and disproportionate share hospitals for the administration of government 340B discount drug pricing programs, has announced it is offering its technology and services to children’s hospitals that have now been included in the 340B Drug Pricing Program.

The tender offer will expire at 5 p.m. ET on Thursday, Dec. 10, and the number of shares represents roughly 10 percent of the company’s currently outstanding shares.

TSYS Healthcare
, based in Columbus, Ga., has announced that HealthEquity, a Minneapolis-based health savings account (HAS) trust, has selected the company to provide payment processing for its consumer-directed healthcare program.

PMSI Settlement Solutions, a Tampa, Fla.-based provider of settlement services for the liability and workers’ compensation markets, has launched its Web-based Drug VALUE Tool, which uses data from PMSI’s Annual Drug Trends Report and a proprietary algorithm to calculate projected savings for a claim to determine if a comprehensive drug value review should be performed for a Medicare set-aside (MSA) allocation.

Merge Healthcare
, based in Milwaukee, has entered into agreements to raise as much as $27.3 million in gross proceeds in a registered direct offering with select institutional investors. The transaction is expected to close on Nov. 18 and consists of the sale and issuance of a little more than 9 million shares of the company’s common stock at $3 per share.
