Vendor Notebook - MPV upgrades tools to create multi-payer application

Medical Present Value, Inc., of Austin, Texas, has integrated its MPV Patient Portion Pricer and MPV Eligibility solutions to create a multi-payer application that uses claims valuation and real-time insurance and benefits verification to help physician practices reduce bad debt and collect more payments upfront.

Lawson Software of St. Paul, Minn., has announced that Liberty Healthcare Management in Wilmington, N.C., has licensed Lawson Human Resource Management, Lawson Workforce Management and Lawson S3 Enterprise Financial Management. In addition, the company has announced the availability of the new Lawson Online Learning Suites, designed to help reduce training costs and speed adoption of Lawson enterprise solutions. Also, the company has announced the launch of Lawson Smart Office 9.0.3 and Lawson Enterprise Search.

ZirMed, a Louisville, Ky.-based developer of revenue cycle management solutions for healthcare providers, has announced a partnership with Hands On Technology, Inc., Hinsdale, Ill.-based developers of the TheraOffice family of practice management software systems, to allow TheraOffice users to access ZirMed's end-to-end payment management services.

Navicure, an Atlanta-based medical claims clearinghouse for physician practices, has announced the availability of Navicure 5.0, an enhanced version of its claims management solution.
