Vendor Notebook: MRO Corporation launches audit tracking at new locations

The MRO Corporation, a King of Prussia, Pa.-based provider of release-of-information, audit tracking and document management applications and services, has announced that DeKalb Medical in Decatur, Ga., and St. Luke’s Hospital and Health Network in Bethlehem, Pa., will; implement the company’s Audit Tracker Online solution.

Verisk Health, Inc., based in Waltham, Mass., has announced that First Service Administrators, Inc., has used the company’s Explorer clinical analytics software solution to analyze and predict healthcare risk and has thus reduced its healthcare cost trend by 5 percent and emergency room use by 10 percent.

Craneware, Inc., an Atlanta-based developer of automated revenue integrity solutions, has launched Supplies ChargeLink, a software solution designed to help hospitals manage and optimize reimbursement for chargeable supplies.

CareView Communications, Inc., a Lewisville, Texas-based provider of healthcare IT services, has engaged DLA Piper, LLP, in connection with the structuring and negotiation of up to $50 million in a financing facility securitized by its contracts to provide the CareView System to hospitals and institutional investors.

The RadarFind Corporation, a Morrisville, N.C.-based developer of real-time location system (RTLS) technology for healthcare providers, has introduced active RFID alarm capabilities with Sentry AV, a wall-mounted device that integrates with the company’s wireless sensor network to identify events that will trigger an audio and/or visual alarm. The alarm system is designed to help healthcare providers reduce loss, theft or damage to medical equipment.

MDdatacor, Inc., an Atlanta-based provider of healthcare quality management solutions for insurers and providers, has announced a new contract with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City to provide the technology that will support the Missouri-based insurer’s medical home pilot program.

DrFirst of Rockville, Md., has announced a partnership with Rivers Computer Support of Rochester, N.Y., to provide its Rcopia e-prescribing functionality to practices using RCS’ panacea.net practice management system.

Gemino Healthcare Finance, based in Philadelphia, has provided a $6 million revolving line of credit to All Metro Health Care Services, Inc., a Lynnbrook, N.Y.-based provider of home healthcare and home attendant services in New York, New Jersey, Florida and Missouri, to help pay off existing debt.
