Seattle-based OCS has announced the release of The Home Health Financial Monitor, a collection of financial reporting and analysis products for home healthcare executives. Among the products in the collection is Executive Brief and Guidance Dashboards. In addition, OCS and Press Ganey Associates, Inc. of West Bend, Ind. have formed an alliance to launch The Home Health Performance Monitor.

Ziegler HealthVest Management LLC of Chicago, which makes early- to mid-stage equity investments in established healthcare services and IT companies, has announced the purchase of a significant stake in Healthsense, Inc., a provider of assistive health monitoring technologies for at-risk individuals.

SoftLight Development, an Irving, Texas-based provider of healthcare consulting, software and pay-per-use services for data management, has unveiled Manage My Practice, a pay-per-use application that integrates medical practice management software into a user-friendly interface for medical offices and practice management firms.

Precyse Solutions of Wayne, Pa. has announced its success in helping the Baptist Health System in Alabama prepare for the pending Medicare severity adjusted diagnosis related groups (MS-DRGs), effective Oct. 1. BHS estimates that it prevented 10 per cent to 20 percent of losses in coding productivity by addressing the new MS-DRGs early.

Express Scripts, Inc., a St. Louis-based provider of pharmacy benefit management services, has announced the acquisition of Baltimore-based ConnectYourCare, LLC, a national consumer directed health plan account administrator, from Revolution Health. Terms of the deal were undisclosed.

Jersey City, N.J.-based ISO, a provider of products and services that help measure, manage and reduce risk, has announced the acquisition of HealthCare Insight, a Salt Lake City-based provider of solutions that allow healthcare payers to prevent fraud, abuse and overpayment.

Senior Whole Health, a Cambridge, Mass.-based Medicare Special Needs Plan serving Medicare/Medicaid beneficiaries in New Haven, Hartford and Middlesex counties in Connecticut, is extending its coverage into Connecticut's Fairfield County, beginning in January of 2008.
