Vendor Notebook - RevenueMed and Anodyne Health to provide enhanced conversion services

RevenueMed, an Atlanta-based developer of business process outsourcing solutions, has announced a partnership with Anodyne Health, a developer of revenue cycle management solutions, to provide Anodyne customers with an enhances services to convert paper EOBs into ANSI 835 transactions.

NaviMedix has announced the acquisition of TopLine Solutions, Inc., a developer of healthcare payment and collection solutions, and a partnership with ClearCycle, Ingenix and Moneris to deliver “the industry’s first all payer-all patient payment solutions for healthcare providers.”

ZirMed, of Louisville, Ky., has partnered with Billings, Mont.-based Computers Unlimited to integrate ZirMed’s revenue cycle management system into CU’s TIMS software for home medical equipment (HME) users. In addition, the company has announced that CareCentric, Inc. of Atlanta will begin making ZirMed’s Web-based RCM services available to CareCentric’s home medical equipment business customers.

McKesson, based in Atlanta, has announced that the Arrowhead Radiology Medical Group in Colton, Calif. will use McKesson revenue management software and services to manage its revenue-cycle operations.

Lawson Software of St. Paul, Minn. has announced that Munson Healthcare of northern Michigan has licensed the Lawson Human Resource Management Suite and Lawson Business Intelligence, part of the Lawson S3 Enterprise Performance Management Suite.

Trusteer, a New York-based developer of software that protects online banking, brokerage, healthcare and retail applications from fraud even if a user’s computer is infected with malware, has raised $6 million in a Series B round of venture capital financing, led by U.S. Venture Partners.

WaveMark, Inc., a Littleton, Mass.-based provider of real-time inventory management solutions for high-value medical products, has launched WaveMark CIMS Fall 2008.

The SCIOinspire Corp., a Hartford, Conn.-based provider of healthcare cost-management services, has opened a new service delivery center in Pittsburgh. The center will be the company’s primary call center and service delivery hub for its care management and claims overpayment outreach programs.

MTBC, based in Somerset, N.J., has announced that, beginning December 1, healthcare providers using the company’s free EMR software will see accelerated collections through real-time adjudication of claims with UnitedHealthcare, Humana and Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Florida.
