Vendor Notebook - Sentry Data Systems releases pharma RCM tool

Sentry Data Systems, Inc. of Deerfield Beach, Fla. has released DRA Tool, a new feature of its Sentinel RCM pharmacy revenue cycle management product. DRA Tool is a reporting and claims editing module designed to comprehensively support the additional reporting requirements of Section 6002 of the Federal Deficit Reduction Act.

Atlanta-based MedAssets, Inc. has announced that Grinnell Regional Medical Center in Grinnell, Iowa has expanded its relationship with the company to include implementation of decision support software and accounts receivable management services.

DataDirect Technologies, a Bedford, Mass.-based provider of data connectivity and mainframe integration services and part of the Progress Software Corp., has announced that Benefitfocus, a Chareleston, S.C.-based provider of software and services for the healthcare benefits market, is using DataDirect XML converters to automatically transform thousands of X12-compliant EDI documents from insurance carriers to XML for accelerated processing.
